  • To close gaps for disadvantaged learners and between male and female learners
  • To continue to improve outcomes for higher ability learners
  • To improve outcomes in DT, History and at A-level in Music
  • To develop data analysis across the school to enable staff to identify gaps and take appropriate steps to close them
  • To improve pupil progress through marking and assessment
  • To continue to improve the quality of teaching in the sixth form
  • To improve the quality of teaching so that it is always good and frequently outstanding
  • To improve home learning so that pupils become resilient and independent learners
  • To show initiative in developing new strategies for teaching and to evaluate success so that teaching is innovative and exciting
  • To adapt observations and work trawl so that they reflect new policy and help to improve teaching and learning
  • To monitor and support Science provision
  • To continue to promote inclusive provision across the academy and community
  • To improve behaviour in class and around the school
  • To become an Attachment Aware School and promote Emotion Coaching across the school
  • To improve attendance and punctuality
  • To continue to develop the whole school reward system
  • To continue to raise awareness of Mental Health and wellbeing for all members of the school community to enable all stake holders to achieve and succeed
  • To develop and promote student leadership opportunity
  • To continue to develop the extended curriculum and opportunities for all students to develop their personal, social, spiritual and moral skills
  • To build quality leadership capacity at all levels
  • To develop CEIAG so that it meets the Gatsby benchmarks and the school successfully gains reaccreditation for the Quality Careers Award
  • Review staffing for 2018-19, together with recruitment and retention strategies (including a review of the cover supervisor role)
  • Review and amend Curriculum Policy, 14-19 Plan
  • Continued monitoring and evaluation of the KS5 curriculum offer, including more enrichment opportunities e.g Arts Award, BCS Level 3
  • An appropriate and bespoke Alternative Provision curriculum offer
  • The development of a Catholic Curriculum across the school
  • Foster international Lasallian links as part of the LWDP and the Academy’s newly acquired International School Status
  • Embed our Lasallian values in to all aspects of school life e.g. appraisal, Learning walks, policies, behaviour systems
