Over busy shopping periods there is a sharp rise in the number of Phishing E-mails.
These can range from ‘please confirm your details’ to something you’ve ordered that you don’t recognise.
Many of these emails make mistakes, like this example
From – an address which the real company would not use.
To – “Account Holder” a company you’ve done business with will know your name. It may also have the e-mail addresses of numerous other similar e-mail addresses.
A 'click here' link or 'down load'. This example has an .exe which is an executable file which will install a virus onto your pc.
If in Doubt – close the e-mail and contact the company directly from a contact on their website.
