6th Form Psychology Students Visit Shrewsbury 'Dana' Jail

On Thursday 28th March, 19 Sixth Form Psychology students attended a visit to Shrewsbury 'Dana' Jail for a guided tour of the prison and talk from ex-prison officers on prison life.  They had the opportunity to dress like a prisoner, follow prison rules, were locked in the cells and visited the last execution room in an English jail.  They were gripped by the fantastic prison guide who informed them about all aspects of prison life and invited their questions whilst enjoying a coffee or tea in the Visiting Room.  It was a fantastically interactive and informative day that was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved.
